Good morning all of you. Respected Principal, teachers, and all the students present here, I would like to thank you all of you had
given me a chance to say a few words on the topic, “keep your school Neat and
clean.”
We all are familiar with the proverb, ‘Cleanliness is
next to godliness.’ As we get up early in the morning our day starts with
personal hygiene. We brush our teeth, take our bath, wear clean clothes, we
clean our house and surrounding, etc. Personal hygiene and clean surrounding
keep us healthy. Likewise, as we are the students of our school, it’s our
responsibility to keep our school neat and clean. I have been noticed that some
students eat their tiffin on the ground in a group. It’s a good thing but after
eating they did not gather plastic bags, paper bags, food leftovers, etc. and not
throw it into the dustbin.
Also, some students eat tiffin in the classroom. They do
so because they want to finish their tiffin hurriedly and want to play before
recess time over. Some students have the habit of writing on the walls with
pencils or pens. Some students make the holes on the desk by pencils or compass
pointer. Some students making paper balls and dropping unnecessarily here and
there in the class. Thus they make their
classroom dirty. In this way, they did not care about cleaning their classroom.
Don’t feel bad my friends as I said about you. In our primary school, we learned
about good habits. But we had forgotten it as we promoted in the higher classes. Our
Prime Minister Shri. Narendra Modi has launched the campaign of Swachch Bharat Abhiyan
(Clean India Mission) on 2nd October 2014. He advised every citizen
to keep the surroundings clean and neat.
So I request you to all that you all
promise me that you all start your duty of keeping our school neat and clean
from today onwards. I hope you will do so.
